How long does the treatment take?

80 Minutes

What can I expect?

Glowing skin with long lasting hydration, immediate radiant results, effortless and painless extractions with no downtime.

How many treatments are needed for best results?

The Hydrafacial can be done as many times as weekly, we recommend no longer than a month in-between treatments so results can be compounded.

Do I need to take special precautions before and after the treatment?

  • If you have a beard or stubble, please shave 24 hours before your treatment or if you wish to keep your beard the therapist can spend the additional time on the top half of your face.
  • Avoid using any Retinol products and acids 2 days prior and 2 days after your Hydrafacial.
  • Please note we cannot carry out this facial due to the technique or ingredients on the following; pregnant clients (any stage of pregnancy), any clients breast feeding, if using Roaccutane, Isotretinoin (if used in the last year), autoimmune diseases i.e. lupus, scleroderma, all allergies to shellfish, honey or aspirin.
  • Similarly, you should stop using generic tretinoin creams or exfoliating treatments like glycolic acid for at least 48 hours before the treatment, the HydraFacial could damage the skin that those treatments have already opened up.
  • You must also avoid wax or depilatories and over-the-counter acne medications that include salicylic acid for 48 hours before the treatment.
  • After your treatment, you will need to avoid many of the same things that you cut out before your treatment. A lot of these products and variables interfere with your skin and can therefore lessen the rejuvenating effects of the treatment. In addition, your newer and healthier skin cells are more vulnerable than those we removed during treatment, and you need to protect them.
  • Limit sun exposure, and don’t use tanning beds for at least 72 hours after your treatment. Beyond the sun’s UV rays, the heat can be especially damaging. Because of this, you should take lukewarm showers, avoid saunas, and stay away from intense cardio or weight training.
  • After your treatment do not use generic tretinoins, exfoliating treatments, over-the-counter acne medication, wax, or depilatories for at least 48 hours.
  • Likewise, you should avoid chemical peels or laser treatments for at least two weeks after and before your treatment.

Please call the clinic on 020-7490 4999 if you are unsure, to discuss.

  6. Skin Rejuvenation using LED therapy is the final step of the facial. Red and Infra-red LED helps to calm the skin, stimulates production of collagen and improves the appearance of signs of ageing. Blue LED light therapy helps to improve the appearance of oily or congested skin, kills p-bacteria acne and calms active acne.

How long does the treatment take?

45-60 Minutes

Which skin type is this treatment for?

The Hydrafacial is suitable for all skin types as it can be tailored according to your skin type.

How does the treatment work?

The Hydrafacial is like 6 individual treatments in 1

  1. It includes a deep cleanse and exfoliation using a one of a kind microdermabrasion which removes layers of dead skin which enhances the penetration of the next stages.
  2. A Glycolic and Salicylic Acid Peel is then used to refine the skin and bring everything to the surface and softens blackheads and impurities ready for extractions.
  3. Extractions are then carried out using a specialised method giving a clearer complexion and improved pore minimisation.
  4. Now the pores are clean the next stage is a topical infusion. Hyaluronic Acid, Peptides and other antioxidants are then delivered deeply.

How does the treatment work?

The treatment uses patented roller-flex technology, to gently remove the surface layer of dead skin cells and impurities while simultaneously delivering vital antioxidants to the lips. The lip service exfoliates and perfectly primes lips with essential key ingredients such as hyaluronic acid, peony extract and peppermint oil that lightly plumps the pout. The serum vial used during the treatment turns into your take-home product for a month’s home-use applications. You should continue to use the serum twice a day, for 28 days to achieve the best results possible. You’ll also receive a PERK Lip Balm SPF 30 to use 2-3 times a day. Can I get the Lip Perk treatment if I have Lip Fillers?

Absolutely! It is perfectly safe to use the treatment alongside Lip Fillers, in fact the Lip Perk treatment can actually enhance the effect of Lip Fillers. If you have Lip Fillers, you will already have had hyaluronic acid injected into the lips. The hyaluronic acid the in the Lip Perk serum will become attracted to the existing hyaluronic acid in the lip, adding more of a plumping effect. The Lip Perk treatment is often favoured as a complimentary treatment, to work alongside Lip Fillers as it will actively help with hydration and presentation of the lips.

Do I need to take special precautions before and after the treatment?

We cannot treat; pregnancy, breastfeeding, roaccutane users, autoimmune disorders, any allergies for ingredients in the serums. You will also receive a complimentary SPF 30 Lip Balm exclusive to the Lip PERK treatment to use 2-3 times a day.
